Scott Montgomery is one of the most successful members of Team Full Tilt. Scott has made a name for himself in the world of poker in 2008. Scott Montgomery was able to make it to the final table of the World Series of Poker Main Event. Scott’s passion came out while he was still teaching.
Scott’s discovery of poker can be traced in 2004 during his teaching career in Japan. Scott learned about the game during his spare time. He played the game and became good with it n no time. Soon, his passion materialized and became his career.
And success would soon be within Scott’s reach as well. Scott had a memorable year in 2008. He participated in the World Poker Tour $9.9K No-limit Holdem championship event. He was able to propell himself to the final table, and was considered among the popular November 9. He competed with Phil Ivey, wwho emerged as the tournament champion. He was able to finish 5th in the tournament and won around $296K. After the tournament, Scott also participated in the World Series of Poker and impressed in three No-limit Holdem events. In one of the events which was the $10K Heads-up World Championship. he was able to obtain 16th place. Scott walked away with a total of $73K in the three events alone. In the main event of the tournament, Scott was included in the November 9. He also played at the $3K No-limit Holdem in the Bellagio Cup IV where he obtained 4th place. He reached the final table of the main event and was able to obtain 5th place and won around $3 million. Scott still continues to play the game and improve his skills. Eventually, he will go even further in poker with his passion and intelligent style of play.
